Google Chrome highlighting all links with a red box
I came accross an interesting issue with Google Chrome the other day. I’ve been using Google Chrome for some time now and all of a sudden some sites started displaying a red or orange box around the links. Sites like Delicious, digg and other sites that I visit regularly started exhibiting this behaviour.
I did a quick search and couldn’t find anything relating to Google and this strange behaviour. Initially I thought I might have toggled some sort of visual aid by mistakenly pressing some keyboard shortcuts, but after a while searching I found an entry in the Google Chrome support forum relating to an extension which matched my issue exactly.
The extension in question is a popular SEO extension which offers you an option to highlight no follow links. Once I unchecked this option the links went back to normal.
I hope this small tip helps someone resolve this problem quickly, thanks to tearles for sharing her solution with the rest of us. The original post can be found here.
